Though non-member OEs who have registered with this website are very welcome to use its facilities for a limited period, they will, we know, understand that there is an annual membership fee to belong to the Association which is used to fund the provision of the site and The Elizabethan magazine. Note, however, that it is not used to subsidise the Sections or social events such as the Annual Dinner in which not all members are able to participate.
Temporary members are therefore, after a reasonable period of access, asked to join, otherwise the freedom to access the site and its facilities will be withdrawn.
The preferred method of payment is a Direct Debit Mandate; and the administrative benefit for the Association is reflected in a reduction in the amount due each year. Payment can, however, also be made by cheque drawn on a UK bank account or by credit card through the international PayPal facility (see the Payments Page).
There are also special terms available to students who are still studying in the 6th Form or who have recently left QE to commence tertiary education or their career. Full details are available from the Membership Secretary.
A copy of the two documents needed to join can be downloaded from this page, in .pdf format. Note that while the Registration Form can be completed and returned on-line, the DD Mandate requires a signature and must therefore be printed out and returned by surface mail.
Current Members who pay by cheque are welcome to use the downloadable Direct Debit Mandate to switch to this preferred and discounted method for paying the annual subscription.
